Guest guest
Hi Darlene, Thanks for the good words, and welcome to our goofy group. I'm the oddball of the group, don't have RA, but I do have Dercum's Disease. It's a rare disease, but recently proved to be autoimmune. I also have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis of the spine, hips, knees, and a few other uncomfortable places, and post-polio syndrome. The hand infection came after surgery for carpal tunnel and trigger finger. I'm 58, married to Ron who has Parkinson's, but he hasn't let that slow him down (still plays golf) and we have a grown daughter who has a 4-year old son and 16-month old triplets (2 boys and a girl.) She has recently decided to begin studies to go into the ministry. That's it in a nutshell, and I do mean nutshell ans most people here who know me know I am a bit of a nut. OK, more than a bit. I've been in a fog lately, so I think I missed the capsule about you, but I'll try to go back and read it so you don't have to repeat it. Obviously you need the support of this group or you wouldn't be here, so I'm glad you found us, and it is a great group! Peace, Judi
