Hi ,

I used to live in Waukegan--where do you live? We refer to

Connersville (where I live now) as " Connertucky " because just about

everyone here used to live in Kentucky. I can accept regional

dialects, but there is such a thing as reading, and even for those

who were never taught to read, we have literacy programs here that

are well advertised but not well used. And I absolutely detest being

called " hon " or " sweetie " by people in restaurants and stores!!
