Big Announcement

For those of you who know the trials and tribulations my daughter,

has endured the past couple of years, the big announcement I

have will really mean something. For those who don't, she has gone

through fertility problems, illness, marital problems, the birth of

triplets, divorce, and recently marriage to her ex-husband's half

brother (which has turned out to be quite a blessing.) Now for the

big news (drum roll please:)

She has felt the strong call to do God's work, and has decided to

enroll in theological school! In August she will begin her studies

in Indianapolis (the name of the school escapes me--brain fog)

studying for her Master of Divinity degree. When she completes this,

she will be an ordained minister and hopes to pastor either a

Presbyterian or United Church of Christ church. Her husband, Tom, is

behind her 110%, and we will of course do whatever we can to help.

I'm just so excited and proud of her, and she feels that this is what

she MUST do, not just what she wants to do. SHe has prayed about it

for weeks, and feels so drawn to it, that I know it is right.

Bonus points--I'm going to sit with her and try to learn Greek and

Hebrew too, something I've always wanted to do. I studied Latin,

German, Spanish, and French in high school and college and I love

languages, now I can add to the list.
