Experts to give research update

Two of the best minds in the country will be in St. Louis next week

[event=Wednesday, November 5] for the annual public update on

research into Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Dr. Schneider of the Rush Research Center in Chicago will

present the latest findings on Alzheimer's and frontotemporal

dementias, discussing risk factors, diagnosis, prevention and

treatments. In addition, Dr. E. Galvin of Washington University

will speak on Parkinson's-related dementia and dementia associated

with Lewy bodies. A question-answer session will be included.

The update will open with an hors d'oeuvres reception at 5:30 p.m. at

the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the St. Louis Airport followed by the

program at 6:15. The cost is $20, although scholarships are
