G'Day everyone..sorry I haven't been around.I have been primarily in

bed.It would be useful to have a laptop.Anyway since I started the

MTX and the Enbrel injections my energy has plummeted.Between 1-

3.Today is the 1st I have been up in a few.And wouldn't ya know

it..I get to inject again today..so in a few hours I'll be back in

bed.Surrounded by my books.Its a good thing I love to read.I read

all non-fiction..History..Biblical History.I study it with a

passion. My pain levels are down hanks to all the opiads and the

weather in Az.But the RA is well not so much the RA but the meds

that are kickin me.Is anyone else on Enbrel? I know there is but I

don't recall who.How long does before some energy kicks in? Nea

Hi Nea, Sorry your not feeling well. I'm not doing so well either,

it's my MTX day tomorrow:(

I hope that your Thanksgiving did go well, and you got to enjoy it.

I'm not sure about the Enbrel, but there are many on it, just wait

you will get some intake on it. It would be nice to have a laptop

during times we don't feel good. You just take care, and know your

Sorry you're feeling so bad Nea. I hope as you adjust to the meds,

your energy will come back. I've been on enbrel for several years,

but for me it helped right away. Hang in there.

Nea, I noticed the effects by the second week. I think it peeked by

then and has tapered off. The effects are not as strong as they

were by the secind week, but it is still doing enough for me to stay

on it. It has done more for me than the Remicade ever did. Hope

those side effects go away for you and you start to feeling better.

My biggest issue with it is the awful itchy/welpy rash that occurs.

But, I will take that over the agaonizing pain any day!!! You're

right about the laptop!! I have one. I use it over my desktop

computer all the time. If I get uncomfortable at the desk, I go to

the sofa, then maybe to the bed. I love this technology!! They say

that technology has distanced people. If it weren't for technology,

none of us would have met!! Take care and feel better!!......Marina
