Thank you ....as always you come through for me with much needed

information. What concerns me is the fact that I can't find anyone who has done

this and that is worrisome, however I am very sick...

Joanne, in the past, only one person has written to the list and said

that she tried the Prosorba Column. Her experience was not a positive

one. I asked for details, but she was unable to provide them.

There have been small trials in which some patients had very good

results. I'll try to send along some of those abstracts.

Try not to worry. You may be pleasantly surprised!

Thanks ...I am worried as Bob's last wife, who had TTP, died following

plasmapharesis.......

Joanne, I know that's a scary thought, but you are a different person

with a much different diagnosis, and the Prosorba Column process is not

the same as the plasmapheresis procedure used in TTP.

Did the rheumatologist mention rituximab as a possibility?
