Guest guest
So sorry that Vitamin K deficiency is still a problem for you, Lynn. It's serious. Given the problems with your liver and pancreas and the subsequent surgery, I'm not surprised. You were saying, I think, that your gums were bleeding. Am I remembering correctly? Are there any other symptoms? A GI doc or hematologist can help you. I'll send some information. The kids and I are holding steady, thank you! I hope you and your family enjoy Thanksgiving. I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
, Thank you for the information. I am wondering if the origin of the problem could be either the predisone or metho I take. Also another thought I had is could it be the vitamin E I take. I remember that I had to stop taking it before the ERCP'S and the surgeries. I am going to go right now and start reading all the information you sent. You are such an angel, you are always there when I need help. Thank you so much my friend. I hope you have a very pleasant Thanksgiving. Lynn wrote: > So sorry that Vitamin K deficiency is still a problem for you, Lynn. > It's serious. Guest guest
, I was just reading the first article you sent me. It seems maybe diet is the problem. I remember many years ago I had this problem. I had been on a diet and had gotten very thin, they had to give me vitamin K injection. I gained weight and the problem went away. It talks about needing bile to help with the absorption of vitamin K. I don't have any bile until the large intestines. I believe if I am reading this right you need in the small intestines. Not much I can do about diet it is what it is. I can not tolerate any kind of fat, just not able to digest it all. Well I am back to reading.
