Greetings! First of all, I wanted to thank you all for

inviting me to join in to your group. I am a former 20

year vet of trucking, and my wife must work, except

when she takes me to the V.A., which she had to

do...and boy, am I worried!

I spend most of my time here alone, and really

appreciate that there is someone out there who cares,

and will talk to me.

Today, they custom made a plastic splint for my two

fingers that have " trigger-finger " I'm supposed to

wear it at night, because every morning, when I wake

up, my finger is closed, and locked, and it causes me

terrible pain to unbeend, and straighten out. T hey

said they can't give me a cortesone shot in it because

it is caused by bad damage to my joints.

Then, because my knee has just given out, without

warning, making me fall, they have me scheduled for a

m.r.i....and it might lead to a knee operation.

Besides being in terrible pain, and taking up to an

hour just to get out of bed, now I am kind of scared.

I often wonder whats the use of living, and going

on....I don't even have friends! How do you make

friends when you'fr on the road all the time...till

R.A. takes it all away!

I guess I'm kind of dspressed.I'm so tired of

hurting and struggling,and wondering what good I am

anymore....well, enough of this. Thank you all for

accepting me into your group. I think I really need a

friend. ken
