Guest guest
Hi It should be nice weather warm during the day, but of course it could rain and you will need a jumper or fleece in the evening. The wonderful thing about the British climate is you can never really predict, so come prepared for sun, wind and rain :-)) When I used to take my children we loved doing the tourist bit, Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard takes place I think around 11 - 11.30 a.m., a walk through St 's Park then to Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall to see Downing Street and No 10, Prime Ministers house, Parliament Square, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey. You can also book a flight on the London Eye, the big wheel which is great, just on the other side of Westminster Bridge, we also enjoyed taking a boat trip up the Thames to Greenwich, where the Cutty Sark is and the Naval College and Museum, plus you see lots of sights on the way. There are lots of things to do museums, art galleries, St s Cathedral, Covent Garden you could take an open top bus ride and there is a bus that goes round the sights and also on the river I forget what it is called. You will have a wonderful time I am sure is it your first visit? I don't know which would be best the train or flying I guess it depends where you are staying if you are in Central London then I expect the train would be good as you would have to get public transport to Heathrow or Stansted Airport and that would take time, and I imagine the train takes you right into Paris.
