Dear Sierra,

In your last e-mail you said:

Thank you so much! I really need to keep working. Is anyone out there

still working full time with RA and still able to do a good job?

Hi,

This is Noreen, a lurker.

I've had RA now for a couple of years. OK, diagnosed for a couple of years. I

work 32 hours a week at a clinic laboratory, and another 20 hours a week on an

embroidery/sewing business I have at home.

I was exhausted and miserable for quite awhile with RA. I was working full time

at the lab, but couldn't keep up, so I asked to cut back on my hours.

Since then, however, I went on MTX. I feel so much better, that I am amazed.

I'm not nearly as fatigued as I was before, and can move around so much better,

I can't believe it.

I kept my hours at the lab at 32 per week, but have increased my sewing hours,

so it evens out. I am so grateful for the MTX, I can't even say.

It doesn't work for eveyone, but there is hope out there.

I live in Northern Minnesota. (on the Iron Range if that means anything to

anyone)Warm around here is for one month in the summer.

I don't have much time to clean my house either, and it isn't my number one

priority. Looks it too around here. I'd really like to get someone to clean for

me. Had my daughter-in-law do it a few times, but then she found a job. Drat.

Yes, not too far from Hibbing. But we are having a heat wave. Supposed to be in

the 50's tomorrow, and we usually have snow by this time of year.

I'll bet you are talking about the area around Hibbing. I was there a couple

of times during the fall, and it was nice, only 30 wet degrees and my jacket

in my luggage. Natives were trying to huddle around me for warmth even

though I said it wasn't necessary. They looked like bears because of all the

fur coats and hats. I ran into them around midnight and they were still

amazed that I was still in short sleeves.

As for cleaning, I take around 3 hours to wash dishes, when I feel like

trying. I also have a low priority for house cleaning, which is ok most of

the time, Betty understands, thank goodness.

Hi Noreen. I¹m so happy to hear that the mtx is helping you so much.

Got to keep those fingers pain free so you can keep up with your sewing!

Personally, the humid summer weather is worse for me, than cold. If a storm is

approaching in any season, I'm worse too.

I tend to get too hot though, and except for my hands, which get very cold, and

I have to have gloves on, I don't mind it even when it gets like below zero.

Everyone is different though, and cold may bother you worse.
