Guest guest
Personally, the humid summer weather is worse for me, than cold. If a storm is approaching in any season, I'm worse too. I tend to get too hot though, and except for my hands, which get very cold, and I have to have gloves on, I don't mind it even when it gets like below zero. Everyone is different though, and cold may bother you worse. Noreen Re: [ ] To Sierra Dear Sierra, In your last e-mail you said: There are a lot of people who do well with this condition. Thank you so much! I really need to keep working. Is anyone out there still working full time with RA and still able to do a good job? Guest guest
Thanks a. I hope it keeps working, but so far, so good. Noreen Re: [ ] To Sierra Hi Noreen. Guest guest
Hi Polly I am a nurse, and work full time. I was dx with RA about 2 years ago. I have times where it is very difficult to work, but I have continued to work full time with RA. I did have to stop with the side jobs and " just " work one job. Until late August of this year, I worked in the hospital. Now I am at an orthopedic clinic. So it can be done. I take Plaquenil, Remicade, Bextra, Zoloft, allergy meds and Ultracet for pain prn. There have been times when I was afraid I would have to quit working, but so far I'm hanging in. Most of my coworkers are unaware of my RA-I would never want to be accused of not carrying my own weight. Typical nurse, LOL! Cary
