Guest guest
Great news, Dix! > > Dan's Dr. called. Everything is basically OK. They actually removed three polyps. There are 3 different kind of polyps: 1 never becomes cancerous, 1 takes years to become cancerous, and 1 is much more aggressive and is the one to watch for. Dan had one of each type polyp; the 3rd one was pre-cancerous. So once again, early detection has been the key to good health. He does need to have a colonoscopy on a regular basis because of the 3rd type polyp. > He also has diverticulosis and hemmorhoids. > He needs to change his diet from the high protein, high fat, high carb diet he loves so much, and start eating much lower fat, and lots of fruits and veggies, especially roughage. > Once again, we have been blessed. > Thank you all for your prayers. Guest guest
Dix, That's great news--not that you want anything at all of those 3, but that early detection is the key. Now you 2 guys just cherish each other all over the place this weekend! Hugs, Judi
