hi cathy... i sure know what you are taling about... people are rude and i do

not understand it... my sister lives with us and she is cerebral palsy with mild

retardation... our mom died of lung cancer this past april... and my husband of

35 years always knew if something happpened to mom, shellie would come and live

with us... so now she is here! ha ha ha..

but anyway, people just bump right into her and push... and handicap parking is

usually out of the question, they are all taken...

oh well... on to nicer thoughts.. ha ha ha

we had our turkey dinner yesurday and boy was it goood... i could not eat much

because my belly was not feeling too good (could be my liver) but boy did all

the kids eat... we had the nicest time around the table... our kids are soo

great.... we had some really great news.... *our youngest daughter and her

husband announced to the whole family that they were going to have a baby* in

july..... i am so excited.... we will then have three babies...

[ ] Black Friday

Hey gang!

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ready for the left overs? YUMMY!

We are having our turkey today because DH had to work last night and I need

all the help I can get when it comes to turkey and the fixins. I can cook

(DH surely can't! LOL) Just have a hard time lugging the turkey and cutting

up the veggies when I am in a major flare up, like this week.

I was wondering if any of you have the courage for the stores today?

Originally we were planning to go this morning when DH got home from work

but I decided against it. DH was happy since he hates crowds. I just

couldn't see getting run over by anyone and for some reason people seem to

come charging at you if you are using canes or a walker. Totally rude I

know, but that is how they are around here. Not to mention we wouldn't be

able to find a handicap spot if our life depended on it today.

I hate missing the sales, but just don't want to deal with the rude people.

Anyone else staying home today?

Hi Rae

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My hubby is the same way. On

several occasions we had to take my sibs in for one reason or another. We

have good men, don't we?

From what I hear it was best that we did stay home Friday. We heard the

crowds were horrid. Then last night on the news they showed how people were

pushing to get into a store. What has brought this society to the point of

being animals?

Congrats on another baby in the family! What a wonderful blessing! It's

great being a grandma! Our DGD is 10 and though we hate to see her grow up

we also enjoy watching her become a young lady. She loves to decorate the

house for holidays so we started that yesterday. We sent her home with that

" talking wreath " last night! Every year she has asked to bring it home,

this year I put it in her room so Mom wouldn't forget it. I don't think our

daughter wants it anymore than we do! LOL DGD loves it! LOL Now if we

could just get rid of that train set that goes under the tree..........LOL

We had our turkey Friday and boy it was good. Of course silly us, we can't

wait till I make turkey soup! <big ol grin>

Have a good one.
