Hair loss (and other side effect ) worries

One thing to remember about side effects: You might not get them!

I was thoroughly prepared to experience nausea when I started taking

methotrexate, but so far, have not had a moment of it. The last time

I took it, I did notice half a dozen strands of hair in my hands the

next day while styling, but realized I had forgotten to take my folic

acid the previous day. It was the only time I experienced hair loss.

Another thing to remember: If we don't like side effects from a med

we can always stop the med. We shouldn't let fear of possibilities

that may not happen prevent us from getting the help we need.
