Guest guest
Can someone please tell me about Cine MRI to diagnose Chiari. I know it is a dynamic form of MRI which allows the measurement of fluid flow from the skull into the spine. Is it done with a contrast agent? Is it measured quantitatively? What are the units by which the fluid flow is expressed - cc/min? What is the normal range? They say it is helpful in situations where the malformation is borderline. Would appreciate any education I can get on this.
