Guest guest
I agree, Iris, it's a disgrace that so few people vote. It's also shameful that there are so many bozos in office and that we let them remain there. Sad that so many unworthy candidates wind up on the ballots. The time and money spent on the campaigns by both of the dysfunctional main parties is also far out of proportion to the result. It's all about getting elected and re-elected, not getting the work done. I love this country, but we can be better than this! It's hard to envision a system that will work if, ultimately, people are accountable to the person with the most dollars. You're right. There is no excuse for allowing people with pain to go untreated. Physicians can stop passing the buck and start trying to solve the problem. I'll tell you where to go!
