Guest guest
Ditto on what wrote. I wanted to add, too, I'm so impressed by all the welcomes I've received here. Some of these groups tend to be a bit " clique-ish " with the oldtimers barely suffering the newbies. You guys are great. Guest guest
and , it's nice to hear that the group is a positive for you and that you feel welcome. As much as a and I try, with a group this large and with so much turnover, we aren't always able to answer every question or personally welcome each member promptly. I do read every post though. If I haven't responded, it doesn't mean that I don't care. Also, some people join but then quickly leave, and so old-timers here may hold back with a response to newbies until they see few posts from that new person. Some people never write, they just read - and that's perfectly OK. Lurkers are with us in a silent and important solidarity. I know from my own experience that it can be quite frustrating to take the time to write what I believe to be a thoughtful response and never hear a word back, but it doesn't stop me from trying, LOL! That's just the way it goes. a and I have realized that we can't please everyone. Some of the reasons given for leaving the groups have clearly illustrated that: too much mail, not enough mail, too many OT posts, not enough OT posts, too much information, not enough information, too much talk about God and/or prayer, too much cliquishness, too many women, too many older women, and so on. Hope you'll stay and continue to find and help to make the group a good one! I'll tell you where to go!
