Guest guest
Well don't know about being double jointed--some days I think that would be a definite benefit--then the ones that hurt could rest while I use the other ones! Have you had some quiet days to compensate for your exciting ones? Hope you're feeling better. Been trying to keep up with my hand exercises the last 2 days, bought some vitamin E capsules to massage into the area now that they have stopped draining and started healing. Keflex gives me the runs, so guess I am getting my exercise, and every time I run to the bathroom my cat thinks he needs to follow me, then makes a face and wants to be let out again (but the door is about 6 feet away from the " throne. " ) The surgery, fall, and infection has made the tumors grow again so I'm hobbly and wobbly and Ron says I look like a sailor after a 4-day drunk. Worst part is he has to help me put my drawers on. I offered to go without underwear for a few days but if it's windy tomorrow the people at church might see more than they want. Marilyn Monroe I ain't. Well, at least we are on the pointy side of the grass, that's what counts. I'd rather smell the daisies than look at the roots. Blessings, Judi
Guest guest
Thanks Tawny, I appreciate it very much. Dix [ ] Re: Dan's test (God) Hi Dix, Just want you to know keeping you, and your family in my prayers. Take care, and big hugs Tawny > Well, the test wasn't quite what we had hoped for, but we are still optimistic. > They had told us it would be no longer than 1 hour. After 2 hours went by, I was a little concerned. After 2½ hours, I started worrying. About 40 minutes later, Dan came out and told me that they found a small tumor, or polyp, and also some suspicious tissue. They removed both, and sent them to be biopsied. We will hear the biopsy results in about 5 days, which could mean Friday, or it could be next Monday. > We're encourage by the fact that if it is malignant, that it was caught very early. And there's a chance that it isn't. Plus, if it is, colon cancer is a very treatable type of cancer. The only bad thing would mean that it's the 2nd time Dan's gotten cancer. > But something very unusual happened on the way home. We stopped at an Oriental restaurant for lunch. My fortune cookie say " You will have pleasant news. " Dan and I just gave each other a meaningful look. Then Dan opened his. It said " Problems dealt with early rarely turn out to be problems at all. " > We couldn't believe it! > God sending messages of hope through fortune cookies is not something we're used to - but who knows? It did help us both be more optimistic. > Yet I know we'll both be waiting anxiously for the results. Again, prayers would be most welcome. > I had called my mother, who said " Oh, it's no big deal. You're always making more out of things than necessary. " I don't know why I bother. > I promised the kids I'd call them, so have to get started on that. I wanted to let you know what happened, and thank you all for your thoughtfulness and prayers. They are so very much appreciated. > Love n hugs, > Dix > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Tawny, I also had difficulty sleeping while I was on Zoloft. Vitamins taken at night will do the same thing to me. Not sleeping caused an increase in pain and depression so my doc prescribed Elavil. Now I can sleep through a freight train going by. Your doc may not want to prescribe sleeping meds for more than a short time while you give Celexa a try. Definitely call your doc. I hope that they will come up with a good solution for you. Guest guest
Hey LouAnn, I have been off line for awhile, back on this evening. Wow, so many posts, and new people! I am having quite a time right now, but always hangin' in here. I'm starting the MTX again, along with the Humira. So, I'm not looking forward to it, but maybe I will get better soon. I'm not able to walk on my left leg right now, and just having terrible problems. I hope that your doing alright, drop me a line, when you get the chance, T --- In , " bandit5125 " <bandit5125@y...> wrote: > > Has anyone heard from Tawny? Am getting worried about her. Guest guest
Hi Tawny I was offline for about a week-I know you've been out of commission and feeling awful. Just wondered if you are feeling any better? I'm thinking of you. Cary
Guest guest
Cary, I'm not doing real good right now. I started the MTX yesterday, hope that helps me. I am still having problems with my lungs, and I know that wasn't a great idea to start the MTX, but I have to get back walking,..... > Hi Tawny > > I was offline for about a week-I know you've been out of commission and feeling awful. Guest guest
Hi Joanne,.....sorry to hear there is no meds you can take for your depression. It's hard to cope with sometimes, especially when there is no change in your condition. Are you having family for the holiday? I will keep you in my prayers. You can email me, would love to hear from you, I'm here for you, T > > Tawny, > > I can relate.....I am fighting it myself every minute of everyday and unfortunately cannot take ANY anti-depressant meds due to akathesia. > > If I can be of any help and you want to talk..
