These examples from the book inside fibromyalgia with Mark Pellegrino! Some of them are funny and some really are not " funny " . 1. Fibronyms: Words that take on a unique meaning pertaining to our fibromyalgia! 2. Mack Truck: A popular vehicle that frequently runs over fibro patients while they sleep! 3. Groan Up: Adult fibromyalgia patient! 4. Pain Pal: A fibromyalgia colleague who understands what we are going through! 5. Pain in the Neck: A fibromyalgia person who has a whiplash injury! 6. Painstaking: The diligent care and effort taken when palpating and mapping out the painful tender points! 7. Ambidextrous: The ability to be equally clumsy with both hands! 8. Etiquette: Knowing the proper way to tell people you have completely forgotten their name! 9. Expert: Someone who doesn’t know anymore than you do about fibromyalgia, but uses slides! 10. Fibro-Fog: Mental state where 60% of the time one is confused and absent minded, and the other 60% of the time, has difficulty concentrating and remembering things! The top ten fibromyalgia self help books that never became best sellers!! 1. How to cure fibromyalgia! 2. Learn to speak assertively with your muscles! 3. How to blame others for your fibromyalgia! 4. Be positive in spite of miserable depressing pain in every despicable muscle of your body! 5. Yes, Every problem you have ever had is from fibromyalgia! 6. Teach your spouse, Family, Friends to completely understand fibromyalgia! 7. Smother your pain with love! 8. Planning a vacation? Don’t forget to bring along your fibromyalgia! 9. Use your pain to win the lottery! 10.
