Guest guest
Actually there is a lot of info out there on the web on this kind of thing and there are a number of organizations that may be able to assist her with funds. She may try contacting the National federation of garden clubs, a local garden club, the master gardener's locally and I Have heard of a few business that help with such things, Lee Valley Garden tools and Gardener's supply company for a couple. Perhaps she could get donations from local green houses. I would certainly encourage her to move forward on this as it is a rewarding endeavor and helps create future gardeners. Theresa School Gardens Dear colleagues, I was talking to a parent today who would like to start a school garden at our elementary school. Does anyone have any experiences with this? I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed, etc. Any other resources or contacts would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Renata -- Renata Mangrum, MPH, RD. http://nurturingnotes.blogspot.com http://infantfeedinghistory.blogspot.com
