I have found that almost all insurance companies will pay for our service. Tell

each patient to call their insurance company and ask. Usually, the insurance

company will send them a letter giving them permission to see you for 3 or more

visits. You must have a NPI number and have the CMS-1500 HICF to bill the

insurance company. Get a good inexpensive billing system. I use InstaClaim 3

disease management and insurance companies

Hello and happy 4th of July! I'm interested in talking to someone that has

experience getting contracts with insurance companies to provide disease

management (anticoagulation services, nutrition therapy, diabetes management,

social services, etc.). Anyone?

Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies....all pay our program for diabetes ed

and/or MNT. We are looking to integrate services with the anti-coagulation

clinic, pharm care, smoking cessation, etc. and are looking to get contracts

with insurance companies (we provide X, Y and Z for risk reduction and get $ per

patient). I know others are doing this....just thought there might be someone

out there. Thanks for your input, though.
