A thimerosal injection is not a mandatory requirement for a child to have regressive autism. The MMR has injured its share of toddlers. The 'background' factors such as pesticides, smokestack mercury, and other toxins you mention increase the child's risk for developing in ways other than neurotypical. I agree, the EPA needs to hear from lots of people. Furthermore, Congress needs to hear that autism parents are upset about the EPA's intent to hide toxic releases.
