Guest guest
It was a lovely birthday. It was 98 degrees here, something we are not accustomed to nor fond of. But...my best friend took me for a seafood & veggie lunch, got me a fantastic cake to bring home (I've given 3/4 away already) then I picked up my youngest and drove 30 miles to pick up my granddaughter, drove 30 miles to her swimming lessons and had a great time walking, sitting in what little shade I could find, had a black cherry sno-cone...drove 20 miles to my youngest's home, visited with her & hubby, drove 10 miles to my place, and watched Disney TV with my granddaughter. The difference in endurance is just about a miracle in my book!!! I got a phone call from my folks with my 82 year old Mom singing in her still lovely voice, " Happy Birthday! " , love from all my kiddles, my sister, and many friends. Though the weather was stiffling, the grace of God poured down like a fresh rain, and I KNOW I am a very blessed lady. Thank you for the birthday wishes & your sweet love...and all my love & good wishes & hugs to my birthday triplets!!! Judi, I love what says...If life gives you lemons stick them in your bra to make a bountier bosom! : ) With my shrinking " girls " I'll be stuffing lemons in my bra soon! All my love....
