Guest guest
Hi Tawny- I have been on 40 mg. Celexa a day for over 3 years now. Best anti-depresant I have ever been on. No side effects that I notice (no weight gain, no sleepyness, no agitation, etc). I have tried nearly every antidepressant over the past 20 years and this is the first one that I have tolerated! Good luck! > I went to the doc today, and he took me off the Zoloft. It was > causing high blood pressure and pulse rate, also sleep problems. > So, I'm starting on Celexa, so hope it works for me. Guest guest
, That is great news to hear! I was worried about weight gain so that is a plus. I haven't slept much in the last month, the Zoloft is keeping me up. So, hope I will get back to normal. Thanks so much, and I hope it works for me too, Tawny > > I went to the doc today, and he took me off the Zoloft. Tawny Are you taking it in the morning, or at night? It is actually not uncommon for these meds to cause sleeping difficulties, part of their action is a sort of stimulant to your brain! Which I'm gonna need in the am at 0445, when I have to get up for my 13 hour workday! I CANNOT sleep tonight! ugh BTW, I'm envious of your pool! Guest guest
Hi Tawny, Been working like a dawg so I haven't been on and stopped in my tracks when I saw your name and Celexa. I am not on it any more, but was for about a year. It SAVED MY LIFE! I was in really bad shape and what I loved was how fast it worked. I was in a ball on the floor - literally - never been so depressed - ever in my life and it worked so fast. The only drawback I found was that it made me incredibly sleepy - my boss used to poke me in meetings! Hope you are doing ok - will write on the side... in CA > I went to the doc today, and he took me off the Zoloft. Guest guest
Hi , It sounds like Celexa is a good med, I'm hoping it works well for me. I was on Zoloft for a little over a month, hardly any sleep. So, this is my second day on the Celexa, no sleep! Isn't that crazy? I'm going to call the doc tomorrow, see if they can't give me something to sleep. I feel bad, like I have the flu, lack of sleep, I lay down, and I'm wide awake. I just can't go on another month like this. Try not to work so hard, you need a break once in awhile:) Take care, Tawny > > I went to the doc today, and he took me off the Zoloft. Guest guest
Hi Cary,I'm taking the med in the morning. I don't get sleepy all day, and stay up until wee hours in the morning. This went on with the Zoloft also. I sleep about 4-5 hours now. I went to bed, and back up again, it's ridiculous! I got in the pool yesterday, and I believe I over did it a little, so I need to relax in it. I hope you get some sleep soon, a long day tomorrow for you, hugs Tawny > In a message dated 23/07/2004 00:06:04 Central Standard Time, > tawnyokc@s... writes: > > > > I was on Zoloft for a little over a month, hardly any > > sleep.
