Guest guest
Thanks so much, Rae. I know a life without too much pain is possible. I guess it's just getting the right meds. Good luck and keep on keepin' on! Polly

Guest guest
Rae, The cold weather increases my pain. I moved to Florida 8 months ago and when I read about the cold weather in the northeastern states, I¹m grateful I am in warm weather. Everyone is different, and some people actually feel better in cold weather. I guess we have to do what is right for us. a > > ha ha ha, noreen... heat wave... you are warmer than us here in napa, ca... > ) > > does the cold bother anyone, with RA.. or does the weather have nothing to do > with it??? doesn't seem to matter to me what the weather is... if i'm going > to hurt, i hurt, ha ha ha > > rae

Guest guest
Hi Rae Remicade is given by infusion, usually takes around 2-4 hours. As far as walking, it's really hard when your knees or feet hurt all the time. Swimming is terrific if you have access to a YWCA or other facility. The Arthritis Foundation has lots of classes in most areas for warm water exercise, too. Other folks on this list have many different great exercise ideas, including weight lifting on machines using body parts other than the painful ones...that is if you have any, LOL! Some days I think well, maybe I can lift weights with my mouth, it's the only part of me that never stops working! Cary
