Guest guest
Hi Ivy, My name is Iris and I live in Big D! I love it here. It is hot (did I say Hot!!!) Sometimes it is a little humid. Winters are mild. People are friendly and drive a little strange. In Texas, you can find any kind of weather and any kind of landscape. In North Texas it snows, in West Texas it is hot , there are hills in San and wonderful Mexican food, there are many sports and leisure activities and plenty of lakes and rivers. There is the Gulf of Mexico, Houston and Galveston. There are plenty of major league sport teams (Cowboys, Rangers, Mavricks). There are a lot of different nationalities here and as many kinds of cuisine. Drop me a line and I will try to answer any questions you have. Iris --- ivyj60@... wrote: > Hi ! > > Thanks so much! Guest guest
Hi Iris! It's so nice to meet you! I have so many questions about the Dallas area. My hubby's plant is in so we'll probably end up living either in Plano, or McKinney. I'm starting to look at real estate and houses out there. It's so expensive compared to Arizona! Any recommendations on doctors and rheums there? I'll need to set up appts in advance seeing how it takes so long to get appts with doctors these days. What are the good hospitals around there? Anyway, feel free to email me offline sweetie. My email addy is ivyj60@.... Thanks a bundle! Looking forward to talking more with you! Guest guest
Ivy left our group as soon as she posted her goodbye email so unfortunatly she didn¹t read all of the kind responses. I¹ve been talking to her and she asked me to thank everyone for their kind responses. She also told me that she mistakenly wrote to us saying that she was on 125 MG of prednisone. She is only on 20mg and is decreasing the dose. I explained to her that much of the controversy was caused by her fear of pain meds, but not fearing being on such a high dose of prednisone. It is a very easy mistake to make when writing dosage. Unfortunately even our doctors do it. She may come back to our group in the future. a
