My parents, sisters, and there families came over to my house to celebrate my birthday on the 20th. Had cake and ice cream and opened some presents. Then on my actual birthday, the 23rd, my husband took me out to this lovely french restaurant that is so romantic. The decor, the music, is just wonderful. Mind you we didn't go to dinner very early as I didn't get off work till 7:30pm, but after rushing to get home and rushing to get ready I forgot all of that when I walked into that restaurant. The day after my birthday my husbands parents were in town and they took our family and my husbands brothers family out to an Indian restaurant and got another gift that night. It was a great birthday!! I continue to do well with my RA. On the Enbrel 2x/week and Arava 20mg 2x/wk. Just had my labs done and have yet to check on those results. I will be seeing a new rheumatologist on the 30th. Every rheumatologist I have had goes into research and I have to start all over. Joints feel well. I am a nurse in a high paced family practice office. Work has been very busy and I have been working 12-13 hour days. The day before Thanksgiving I felt like a flare in that I was so fatigued and discomfort in my hips and a little in my feet. I think it was just everything catching up with me. I went to bed at 8:30 that night and woke up fine the next day. I am off to work in a little bit. I have the Saturday duty this weekend. Thank you RA friends for all your posts. I love reading them.
