I am wondering the same thing. On her last visit, he told her he could start her

on another medication until she finds out about her approval for Humira. He gave

her several names of drugs, and their side affects and then said " you choose " .

My Mom said to me " how am I supposed to know which one to choose? He told me the

names, which meant nothing to me, and what bad side affects each of them could

have. " Needless to say, she was upset and I was less than happy. I am trying to

talk her into pursuing a second opinion even though we have been told by several

people that this particular doctor is one of the best Rheumatologists in the

Akron area.

I decided to do what I can by educating myself about the options out there. I've

been reading the archive posts which are very helpful. Blessings,

DEANNA
