Guest guest
I have heard about Rituxan and here in Texas there is one rheummy that is doing a trial study on rituxan. I decided it was not for me as its even stronger chemo drug than Methotrexate. I would look on _Welcome to the Centerwatch Clinical Trials Listing Service!_ (http://www.centerwatch.com/) Maybe you mother can find a study going on in her area. Has anyone heard about or asked their doctor about this new smart drug? My Mother's doctor says he cannot dispense it. It sounds promising. http://www.ajc.com/health/content/health/0604/17arthritisdrug.html

Guest guest
Yes, Deanna, but Rituxan (rituximab) isn't approved for RA yet. It's still being studied for uses in diseases other than lymphoma. This therapy is sometimes referred to as " B-cell depletion " and looks as if it may be an effective option for RF-positive RA patients. I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
Hi, I just finished an experimental trial for Rituxan thru Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. I failed miserably! It started in February and I just opted out as my inflammation was at an all time high. I was so hopeful that it would work and it didn't...for me. But my doc swears it works for some as well as TNF drugs. I'm going back on Enbrel even though I have a MS diagnosis. My rheumie and I agreed along with neurologist that my RA is much worse than my MS. Although, as someone said, it is nice to have other options Kirsten in Chicago > > Thank you .
