Guest guest
Ivy, if there is any way this will reach you, I for one, am deeply sadden that there is any type of rudness here, because there should be a place where we can all come to, to feel safe about sharing our thoughts. The world is cruel enough, we need not be that way to one another too. We should all be grown up enough to agree to not always be in agreement. Can we not take a moment to think about how to say something KINDLY? If we do not care about each other, then what makes us any differently about the world that does not understand what we are going through? Jefersea [ ] Anjillah/All please read OxyContin I'm going to be leaving this group I'm sorry to say. I'm absolutely amazed at what people are saying to me in here and how rude they're being. I can't believe how many people are hiding their heads in the sand. I understand and can see both sides of a story with anything, but to outright tell me I don't know what I'm talking about is just plain rude and I didn't come here to be insulted. I DO know what I'm talking about because I EXPERIENCED it and researched it 2 years ago. I HAVE NEVER NEVER told anyone in here NOT to take the meds. ON THE CONTRARY..if you would have read my posts throroughly I DID say that if your meds help you you should take them. I NEVER said that everyone becomes addicted. I SIMPLY SAID TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU TAKE AND DO ALL OF YOUR RESEARCH. I'm not going to go on with this discussion any further. I'm sorry to leave this group because I think there are some good people in here who are open minded but the rudeness I've seen in the 48 hours I'm here has been appalling. I wish everyone well on their journey and wish you all pain free. I will save you all the hassle of my conversations and input and will be unsubbing as soon as I send this. Guest guest
Ivy: It is a shame that you have to opt to leave this group because I gave my 2 cents worth of an opinion. That's my opinion. You have yours. Why are you making such a big deal out of a little criticism? We are here to discuss things about how we feel about different things effecting this illness. This is not meant as a personal attack against you. If you think so then you have taken it wrong. If your views on this aren't the same as mine then that is just the way things are. However, why quit this group over something like that. I don't get it.
