Guest guest
DJM, you may contact me directly. I understand that DMSO can soften scar tissue. perhaps you might look at http://www.dmso.org/ I can offer no diagnostic opinions, not having been that way before. It did seem to leave skin looking more natural , even in texture and color. Sam
Guest guest
Here's something I found interesting also. I have a small surgical scar on my wrist and had some very nasty patches of skin that was so dry that it was really like cracked leather. My doc gave me a prescription for Lac Hydrin lotion. It also comes in a non-prescription strength. The prescription strength is rather expesive and pretty sticky, but works wonders. I kept slathering the scar and dry patches with it. The scar is no longer visible unless you're looking for it. The dry patches loosened up and came off, leaving nice, soft skin. Now I use the over-the-counter version to keep it that way. Guest guest
Meni, A couple of times a week, I use the Lac Hydrin on my feet right after showering, then put white cotton socks over it. It's amazing the difference it has made to my heels. It's an alpha hydroxy lotion. I believe the prescription strength is something like 12%. That's why it's only available by prescription. The OTC version is Lac-Hydrin Five. It's made by Westwood-Squibb Pharmaceuticals. I buy it at Wal-Mart, but it's also available online through http://www.planetrx.com and http://www.more.com. Guest guest
OK, I'm crazy, but I sandpaper dry rough places on my feet, or hard skin near the cuticle of my fingers. I use 120 production paper from 3M as it is non clogging. I find vitamin E from a capsule pierced with a large safety pin is a great healer and emollient. Last evening I had fried ham for dinner, wife would not eat it, too salty. Last evening late I rose from bed and fell back. This morning I had to be very careful on rising, checked my BP with a motorized Omron meter 165/98 P 66 about 0630. At 0715 it was 125/77 P59. I'm still feeling queasy, took a Lasix. My old BP was 107/70. ?????????????? Sam
