That's great news, dreamer! I forgot - how much MTX are you taking?

[ ] update (on MTX)

> hey HI!

> I began mtx in first week of Feb. I had major mobility issues and

wound up totally bedridden and going out of my mind from pain and

immobility. UG. (that is a long story, but husband is disabled, 2 of my

3 kids are, we had no health insurance so I could not get treatement)

> Began the mtx and it took awhile to start to help. We went out of

town, actually to the ocean...were gone 2 weeks. I did get sunburnt,

and it was much worse than usual, and I peeled much more than ever

before---was it mtx or RA that caused that? BUT- the good news is in

June while we were by the ocean, slowly ALL my outward symptoms of RA

went away!!!! Was it the mtx finally? was it vacation? I do not know

for sure, but it was AWESOME.

> We came back home mid June, and I did great till just this week, and

now some symptoms are slowly creeping back- but- nothing is stopping me,

and it is barely slowing me down. after 3 years being so sick, I am not

ready to let it get me again that bad.

> Funny, I had begun to think the mtx would not help--- it seemes like

it took a LONG time, from Feb to June.

> Whatever, I am grateful to be how I am right now. :-) Hang on to

hope.

I take 5 2.5 mg tabs on Saturday nite at bedtime. Nice low dose, no negative

side effects. I cannot believe just how much relief I got from it----I am still

shaking my head and laughing with glee.
