Guest guest
I second the comment about being a Palmer graduate. Mine is, and he is great. He also uses the activator, which is a tool to help adjust you without severe manipulations. I don't know how the rest of you feel about the activator, but we like it. Also be aware that if you ask your chiro straight out if you should be vaccinating, he or she might not be able to directly answer that--it would be giving medical advice without a license. I told mine I had reservations about vaccines, he asked if that meant I wasn't vaccinating, I said "yes, now" and he said "We don't vaccinate either." I must say that as I am now in my second trimester, this is the first pregnancy where I have felt great, and it is the only one that I have been under chiropractic care. I don't believe it is a coincidence. I mean no vomiting, very little weight gain (as opposed to massive weight gain in the past), and we have been keeping the hip pain in check. At my first official appointment with my midwife I asked her to find the heartbeat, because I felt so good I didn't feel pregnant, and was worried! Everything is fine though. I also take my son for his eczema, and his chiropractic care, combined with removing dairy from his diet, has worked miracles. Guest guest
I'm Seronegative RA, Fibro, have Spondylosis, Osteophytes and disc herniations in my neck. My neck is a hellish nightmare and has been for years. I have to say though that when I am able to go to the chiropractor my neck feels so much better my back feels stronger and even my joints feel less strained. I am then even able to exersize. I go once a month. I would love to go biweekly...when I do twice in the month, I feel even better. It helps better than any meds have. My chiropractor was the one who helped me get diagnosed by suggesting I get a simple mri which led to extensive testing then to the Rheumy etc. He is ultra gentle and I don't know what my life would be without him. Guest guest
Hi everyone - just want to make sure that this was received. Has anyone had success with, or experience with, chiropractors helping our babies with torticollis? I have an appt. on 6/6 - I don't want to leave any stone unturned. Also, I have not found any craniosacral therapists who are experienced with children with our babies' condition in the Stockton, Sacramento area. Is chiropracty just as good?? Help! Thank you so much and I hope all of you have a great day -this group is wonderful,
Guest guest
Cranial Technologies referred me to a chiropractor when I asked about physical therapy. I'm trying to find out the same thing. Guest guest
Hi! I was just looking into CST and if you go to www.upledger.com you can go to find a practitioner and enter your zip- the site also gives info on how many classes/time the person has. Hope this helps and Kameryn CA.llcoler@... wrote: Hi everyone - just want to make sure that this was received.Has anyone had success with, or experience with, chiropractors helping our babies with torticollis? Guest guest
Is it a pediatric chiropractor? I looked into it as I found one locally that did CST.But then my DOC band PT was able to fit me in for CST. I know there is someone who talked about a chiropractor. Did you search the archives? Do you belong to the Torticollis group too? It may have been over there that I saw it. > > Hi everyone - just want to make sure that this was received. > Has anyone had success with, or experience with, chiropractors helping our babies with torticollis? Guest guest
My son was diagnosed with torticollis and we started out using Physical therapy - and home stretching as prescribed by the specialist. My son had a lump over the muscle that was affected and after 5 physical therapy appointments he showed very little improvement. I decided to try chiropractic care - After ONE visit with the chiropractor the lump disappeared and my son could look out the window to the left for the first time in his 4 months of life. He also ended up rolling over to the left for the first time as well. I don't know about the rolling over thing - possibly a coincidence but just watching him being able to look out the window to the left was enough to bring tears to my eyes. He's had a total of 6 visits with the chiropractor and the plagiocephaly specialist says that his torticollis is almost cured and that we should continue our home stretching activities and follow the guidelines for adjustment set by the chiropractor - 2 a month adjustments after his first initial month of 3 x a week. I would DEFINATELY recommend a chiropractor that is experienced with adjusting small children and babies.
