DO go check out the urls I have provided. They give admission, directions,

locations and more details about the events. I print a copy of this and keep it

by my calender for when the " mom, I'm bored " hits. You might be surprised that

while some of this sounds so far away, some of it turns out to not be all that

far after all. We had a great time seeing SImple Plan, the crowd was gentle, the

kids got autographs and even hugs from the band....the cost was SO low, and the

drive was an easy gentle ride, OK so it was over an hour, but traffic was non

existant.

Ya only live once and there is so much out there to see and do!!!! As you know,

I love parades, fireworks and music. We also have fun collecting freebie stuff

in exhibit tents, and gosh a fair corn dog or funnel cake? YUM. LOL. (we did NOT

like the deep fried Oreos or twinkies)

When was the last time you screamed so loud as to get hoarse at a demo derby?

SOmetimes we even get splattered with mud, when we get there early enough to be

front row.

Hey the kids love it, leave your problems and worries at home, fairs can be

cheap (be sure to check the websites) and if mobility is an issue, rent or

borrow a scooter!!!!!

Come see animals, ride rides, play games, eat junk, run around, make noise and

have fun.Ya know what? Your problems WILL wait for you -- take some time.
