Guest guest
Hi everyone! Went to the rheumy last week and now we can add fibro to the mix. Unbelievable. The good news is that the humira is working on the RA, and the swelling in the joints has gone down. I asked why I am still hurting and she pushed on the triggers and said Fibromyalgia. Since Thursday, I have started on Neurontin, which has helped with the pain somewhat. I can say that I feel better than I have in 5 months, so that is good. It's weird, but it's kind of scary to feel better. I am wondering if I will still feel good once I get up tomorrow or will all the pain be back?? I am not pain free by any means, but finally have some relief. June - I am so sorry for your loss. I wish there was something I could say that would make you feel better, but I lost a dear friend 6 years ago and I know what it is like. Please be good to yourself during this difficult time. You are an inspiration to me the way you described handling the doctors and the request for pain meds. I will remember that on the next trip to the doctor. Peace, Stacey
Guest guest
Stacey, sorry to hear that you have fibromyalgia, too, but it's very good news that you are finally getting some relief. I hope you feel even better very soon. I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
Stacey, sorry to hear you have another dx. It seems like when we go to the doc, we come out with another one:( I'm really glad to hear that the Humira is working for you. How long have you been taking it? Do you take it with MTX? I have been taking it for a year now, and just recently added the MTX, so hope I feel a difference soon. It is kind of scary when you are in less pain. But, just try to enjoy it, and don't worry about it at the moment. I will keep you in my prayers, that you will have more days with less pain, Tawny > > > Hi everyone! > > Went to the rheumy last week and now we can add fibro to the mix. > Unbelievable.
