Guest guest
Sandie, thank you for answering my question. So this is something that affects most of us in a negative way. I see that Iam not the only one who suffers with the varying degree of temp or climate. nyzki Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
Hi Everyone Just a quick update for everyone on my program results. Starting this week, I've upped my kickboxing to 6 times per week an hour per workout....I'm walking at night 8-10 k.m.'s with a group 5 X's per week....my physiotherapist is amazed firstly, that i can do this...(I'm really determined) but the best part is my body is changing finally shrinking, and my breathing is amazing NO more wheezing....some coughing, and phylem but I can easily cough it up....I'm trying to add some more things to my routine in time.... Hope everyone is doing fine.....I hope this inspires someone...I feel instead of 57.....like 37 and I look it too.....Just start with something small and build on it.... Great Job.... Thanks, Re: climate changes & bronchiectasis Sandie, thank you for answering my question. So this is something that affects most of us in a negative way. Guest guest
When I asked the UC pulmonologist this question about weather, he said some people find moist air soothing. I know dry air causes my dry eye and throat to get worse. Before I started the daily inversion and percussion therapy going for walks in the fog or on a cold night really took my breath away. Scary. Heat and humidity are the pits. Our heat here is dry, which does have it's own drawbacks. Not too many perfect climates around! Kay -------------- Original message -------------- From: Sunniesback55@... Now, yes the heat drains energy, and b/c of that it is when I now have worst health, BUT no more fevers, bronchitis, shivering miserable...uuugggghhhh!!!!Humidifiers are often recommended to ease breathing esp in dry climate, so why not live in one. So I guess, Sandie, I’ll take a couple of months of humidity and heat for the rest of the year around 60-70% humidity and 28C – perfect one day, paradise the next (if you’re healthy!!!),Hope this sheds some light...All the bestjoy Perhaps we're all different in our lung disease..but for me I don't have a choice. My lungs rebel at anything over 50% humidity..couple that w/temps over 60 degrees and I can't walk 1 block. For me, and others, the heat and humidity are killers..
