Guest guest
Hello all, I've been reading the postings for a while and decided to throw in some possible advice for the itching. My son was diagnosed with PSC in August 2000, and is now on the transplant list. Anyway, here's something you might try if you can find it.I realize that the itching is coming from internal sources so I really have no idea if it would help but I'm sure anything would be worth a minute's relief from the " itch " . Years ago I had an allergic reaction to sulfa that went on for months. Nothing helped until my aunt told me about 's salve, I believe it was called salve. It was at her drugstore and came in a tiny round can, I mean we're talking lip gloss size. It deadened the nerve endings and actually allowed me to sleep. Don't know if they still make it or not. Another thing that is beneficial for allergic reactions that cause itching and hives is Pantothentic acid, actually a B-vitamin found in most drugstores. So, good luck to you all and I hope this might help someone.
