I found these three groups listed in the Woman's World magazine, and

I have signed up to participate in all 3 (well, my grandson in one of

them, not me!)

www.colorasmile.org Children can color pictures to be sent to

people in hospitals, veterans' homes, and senior centers

www.projectlinus.org Making quilts and blankets for children from

infant to teenage who are homeless or seriously ill

www.homefronthugs.com You can " adopt " a homesick soldier with

letters, email, and care packages

I've found that doing things like this takes my mind of my aches and

pains!
