I had the a chance where I could see them a few years back in Salt lake...but my friend made me feel guilty cause the concert was on a sunday...and in my religion we try not to do anything on sundays that we would normally do on a weekday. LIke not going to the store..out to eat...concerts! So she felt bad about doing it but dang.. I should have gone though!!!!! I regret it..I really really do! Did you go to the final tour? I was assuming you did since you listed The Cure last...*cries* oh how I miss them...I go into Hot Topic looking for The Cure stuff..and they always have like The Clash stuff. Everyone was yelling, teling him to sing " The Motorcycle Song " ...he was more inerested on playing his Dad's stuff....we wanted to hear HIS stuff. After everyone was asking over and over for his songs (we didn't want to har a bunch of old train songs..)...he called us all a bunch of pigs and walked off stage! So my first concert was about ten minutes long! Didn't get our money back either! Pat (this was back in the seventys...hmmmmm I MUST be the oldest here????) Guest guest
Well my first concert was in Memphis. I went to see Beth Midler and she went on a break and said her piano player was going to play. He was new and she wanted to introduce him and she asked us to go out and buy his first record. It was Barry Manilow!! EEks! Am I old! Ha! Seems like yesterday though. Ha! Pat S.

Guest guest
It was 1987 when I saw them. (Fresh out of high school at the time, so I'm almost 35.) There was a lot of black clothing and lots of pot smoking. Funny thing is, I don't remember all that much about the actual show. Guess it didn't leave a big impression on me. I think the tour was for the Hot Hot Hot! cd. That was during my 'I'm gonna smoke cigarettes, spray my hair black and wear non-conventional clothes to try and be cool' phase. That didn't last long! Guest guest
I got pregnant when I was 16, so that ruled out concerts! I have been to Rolling Stones and a couple TonicSolFa concerts. Ever hear of them? They are a midwestern group--accapella--they hit college campus' mostly I think. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --OKay gurl..who did you spend the eighties > teathered > > to > > > a > > > > bus > > > > > with? > > > > > > I know tons of eithties bands....soooo puhleeze tell > > > tell > > > > tell! > > > > > > Kathi (who's just another name) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
I'm going to a Bob Dylan-Willie concert in August. It's in Tennessee, somewhere two miles from my son's house in Bristol. It's in a ball field, so I'm hoping it won't rain.
