Guest guest
I experienced memory problems one time after converting to normal rhythm -- I had been in AF for 12 hours and it was a particularly bad episode. When I converted I picked up the phone to call my husband at work and couldn't for the life of me remember his cell phone number, which I had called at least once every days for years. I had to call information for it. I felt foggy and out-of-it for another 24 hrs. and was not able to work. This was only once out of many episodes... new > >hello people > >i have a history of reacuring a fib. I had hartsurgery >in 85 and 92. Guest guest
Regarding memory problems related to cardioversion, two reasons could be reaction to anesthesia or possibly a stroke due to movement of blood that settled in the atria (coagulation). new hello people i have a history of reacuring a fib.
