Guest guest
I simply told me doctor that if I have a choice between quality of life and quantity of life, that I'd choose quality of life any day. Since I'll be 60 next year, he didn't have a problem with that - although so far, I haven't had any serious negative effects from my meds. Re: [ ] Re: a......Thank You a, I know exactly what you're saying, but I DO give a rat's ass whether you become addicted, LOL. That's what mystifies me about this whole thing: If you are in pain 24/7 due to a chronic condition, why don't doc tors worry about that pain that has about a 100% probability of being a significant problem if left untreated or undertreated? Instead, they are very concerned about the small chance that you will become addicted to a medication that has a very good chance of relieving your pain and greatly improving your quality of life. . . . .
