Guest guest
Does this article mean that if you have joint hypermobility you are more at risk for inflamation/joint erosion? Or does it means that worsening RA causes more hypermobility? My feet and ankles don't seem to hold a chiropractic adjustment anymore and Ive been wondering if the cause is RA affecting the tendons and ligaments that hold the whole mess together. I also wonder where/who I could go see to relearn how to walk as I have severe flat feet and overpronate which just makes things more prone to moving out of alignment. When I asked the podiatrist about relearning my gait he basically laughed at me but then he doesn't have a job standing all day on feet that hurt so much at times that you want to cry! And no, the employer will not accomodate- we have been trying for over 4 years.--- <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > Rheumatology > 2001; 40: 202-204 > > " Pro-inflammatory interleukins in the synovial fluid > of rheumatoid > arthritis associated with joint hypermobility " : > > http://rheumatology.oupjournals.org/cgi/content/full/40/2/202 > > > > > I'll tell you where to go! > > Mayo Clinic in Rochester > http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester > > s Hopkins Medicine > http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org > >
Guest guest
, they are saying that, in RA, worsening of disease may result in hypermobility in affected joints. Have you asked your podiatrist about orthotics? I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
-I've been using orthotics for the last 20 years but my feet have gotten to the point where they don't solve the problem completely--- <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > , they are saying that, in RA, worsening of > disease may result > in hypermobility in affected joints. > > Have you asked your podiatrist about orthotics? > > > > > I'll tell you where to go! > > Mayo Clinic in Rochester > http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester > > s Hopkins Medicine > http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org > > > Re: [ ] Pro-inflammatory > interleukins in the synovial > fluid of RA associated with joint hypermobility > > > > Does this article mean that if you have joint > > hypermobility you are more at risk for > > inflamation/joint erosion?
