Guest guest
Welcome! I'm glad you have joined. I am rather new to RA and the group but gather that many people here have had it or have had family members with it for many years. This group has been so helpful to me in so many ways, dealing with the emotions but also the medications, risks v benefits, and what your doctors are supposed to be doing. I'm interested in learning more about your muscle pain. Did you get muscle spasms when you first started getting symptoms of the RA? When it was first cycling through all of my joints and my doctors had not diagnosed me yet, I got terribly painful spasms in my feet but also have had ongoing problems with my neck. My rheumy disregards it but I'm switching drs in December. Most recently I have been out of work and home-stuck for about 3 weeks with neck pains and migraine headaches. My current rheumy says it is not related and my PCP sent me to a neurologist who thinks it is just an awefully long migraine. I can't seem to convince anyone that it is RA related eventhough they took head/neck xrays and did find some damage. Have you ever had anything like that happen? Again, welcome and good luck with the new doctors:) Cat > to the group, not the RA or Fibro! I'm Dennis and I've had RA since 1990. ... For some reason, most of my symptoms are in the muscle and soft tissue, not the joints. X-rays don't show much damage to joints except in my neck. I still don't understand that. > > Dennis
