Guest guest
Hi Everyone, What a nice surprise to open my email this morning and find all your messages...I guess it does pay off to let people know who you are :-). Carla - I am glad that you finally found out what it is...and hope that you find the right combination of meds quickly. I know that my husband wants mine to be " all better " and on some days can get frustrated with this ICI (Invisible Chronic Illness). To all - I am reading a GREAT book called, " Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired...Living with Invisible Chronic Illness " by J Donoghue and E. Siegel. What a gift. I believe they both suffer from chronic illness and it feels like all of my feelings, fears, uncertainties are being understood by someone and are actually NORMAL reactions to my new circumstances. I have asked my dear husband to read this when I am finished, and may also pass it along to a few close family members - it really demonstrates the difficulty and uncertainty that we face each day. I highly recommend it. We are going to my father-in-law's house for Thanksgiving....(my mom in florida says I should make apple pie to bring, that Dave can cut and peel the apples - but we'll see what my energy level is like). What are you all doing?? Good to be a part of this group! Stacey
