Guest guest
Here is the website for Kid Care in IL. Please share this and the school lunch info with anyone you know who has children. Sometimes it is not obvious when people might need a little help. And you might be surprised at how high some of the income cut off guidelines are. http://www.kidcareillinois.com/ Here is the info I got from my school regarding income cutoffs for free or reduced price school lunch (and possibly breakfast, too) House hold size 2 people $23,107 yearly, $1,926 monthly, $445 weekly. House size 3 people, $28,990 yearly, $2,416 monthly, $558 weekly House size 4 people, $34,873 yearly, $2,907 monthly, $671 weekly 5 people- $40,756 yearly, $3,397 monthly, $784 weekly 6 people- $46,639 yearly, $3,887 monthly, $897 weekly 7 people- $52,522, $4,377, $1,011 8 people- $58,405, $4,868, $1,124 If your income falls below this amount in ILLINOIS, you might be elegible for free or reduced school lunches. Also often, there are also state programs to help get insurance for your kids or possibly reimburse you for insurance premiums, and here where I live, you can get " scholarships " at our park district for things if you qualify for free or reduced school lunches. Sometimes this can also help people get heat or utility assistance.
