Guest guest
OK some of you have heard about how I had people touch my hair to see if it was real etc- (no, my hair is not weird or anything, but, people were touching it earlier in the summer, anyway) OK when we were on vacation, we were at S Jersey beaches and we wanted to see a sunset at Cape May, but it was too overcast. We stayed longer trying to see a sunset, but it just did not happen. SInce then I have tried to see a sunset anywhere- but the summer has not been real cooperative, and even my kids now have been trying to also see a sunrise. LOL The other day we took one of the kids down to S. IL to something. Around dusk I was driving and out of the corner of my eye I saw something. I thought it was the sun going down, it was bright red. I mean REALLY red. I got excited and hollered and whooped and yelled at my kids to look. (do you ever tell your kids look, cows, mooo while driving ? I do) The kids and husband were going huh? what? what are you looking at mom? We do not see the sun. I was ging maybe 80 MPH and well, I chanced a look and there to the side of the car was this huge red spot. THERE THERE look! The sun is absolutely beautful, going down. I was pointing my arm out in front of my poor husbands face RIGHT THERE look!!!! I was screaming, there it is there it is! LOOK. Well, the kids were still going yeah mom, uh, where? I finally took my face and looked- guess what? It was NOT the sun..LOL- it was something else I love so much-LOL LOL- it was a huge red lingering firework, now starting to disintegrate. LOL. Oh. Well, let me tell you, they did not let me live that down. SInce then they look outside every day to make sure I know our sun did not disintegrate, LOL.and they have even been having me look to make sure the moon didn't either. OK so, last nite we went to the drive Inn movies. We saw The Village and King Arthur. (I did not enjoy either one) We were sitting in chairs in front of the car and we heard someone yell LOOK LOOK, well, I jumped to see what I was supposed to look at. This very young lady was all excited right next to my car. SHe was pointing at the sky. What? I said. The moon, look, well, I turned and looked and the moon was bright orange-pink and it seemed t o be going UP but also it was going under a cloud at the top, so it looked kinda like a reverse sunset......or as my son said, like the sky was eating the moon.....Well, my husband and kids had a field day with me then, but for over half an hour we all watched the moon with this young lady. She then grabbed me and hugged me, and pranced off. Half an hour later she was back, inviting us to share pizza. then she went away and half hour after that she was back asking for a light for a cig.....and half hour after that she had her partner with and they needed another light, and brought us Milk DUds and Dots, LOL, which we traded and gave them a box of Whopper s we got by accident.LOL. We exchnaged email addresses.LOL- and she gave me more hugs and when the movies were over she came back again for a good nite hug. I am finding some of the most fun people in some of the most unexpected places------and it sure was great to watch the moon with her----- I have been trying to figure out how I attract people at things this way lately----I think it is my hats and head beads... yes, I had my cleopatra head beads on last nite. LOL. I am wondering if they seem to be an invitation to others that I am friendly? In any event, it was neat to meet a new person and it was awesome to watch the moons antics last nite. Altho now I suppose the kids and husband might now tease me even more over strangers coming and hugging me or touching me, and they also might tease me even more about the sun and moon. LOL.
