Guest guest
, do you work in the sunlight? Your doc should have told you that you shouldn't be in the sun while on MTX. Guest guest
Hi Iris - I am an outside sales rep - in and out of my car. I have a pretty good tan - don't try - but it just happens. I am concerned with what is going to happen now with the exposure because I go from my car to customers all day long. in cA > > > > Hi all, > > > > I got put on this because my rate was high and my rheumy decided > > > > that waiting until September until my insurance came through was > > > too > > > > long. Guest guest
I just asked my rheumy about sun exposure, he had never mentioned it but I read it on the label or on the web. He said some people have problems with sun while on mtx. I have a 4 year old so we go to the park quite often, swimming too sometimes. I always wear sunscreen. My rheumy said some people have problems and the sun gives them a rash. He said keep wearing sunscreen and if I have problems with my skin then try to avoid the sun more. Of course, you might want to ask your rheumy next time you talk to him and not just take my advice.
