Guest guest
I work in a large facility that covers the continuum of care including a SNF under PPS. We have been able to maintain our salary structure and benefits compared to prior years. We do not pay for licensure, professional dues, etc. (and never have). We did reduce our continuing ed budget this year from $1000 to $750/therapist but were able to keep our meeting days @ 5/yr which is separate from PTO. So we have been lucky so far. Kathy Szirony, PT Rehab Manager CCF >>> 08/12/99 03:30PM >>> Listmembers, I am in the process of evaluating our compensation and benefits package. We are a PTPP and have outpatient clinics and a home health department with approx. 65 employees-most of whom are therapists. Currently we offer health, dental, vision, PTO, 401 (k) with employer match, cont.ed, tuition reimb., license renewal etc.. I would like to know if other PTPP's have made adjustments on the compensation side, the benefits side-or both? What " current " compensation package is most desirable to your employees? How has your staff adjusted to the change and what impact did the change have on your organization. I appreciate any suggestions you have before I step into the lion's den.
