Guest guest
Have you tried taking the Questran/Cholestyramine first thing in the morning when you awake, and then again in the mid-late morning? I have found, thanks to a tip from Aubrey, that this regimen takes care of most of the itching. Avoiding eating much in the evening also helps. Finally, you mention that you take 6 Actigall caps daily; does that put you in the 20-30mg/kg category? I ask because when I first began taking the drug, in a dose of about 15mg/kg, it did nothing for my itching; when I increased the dose in accordance with Dr. Chapman's protocol, I experienced significant relief. Guest guest
Ezra, I have tried the questran according to Aubrey's directions but it still did nothing for me and I really had a difficult time trying to drink it. The increased urso does put me into the 20 mg/kg category and the tx doc referred to the benefits of high dose urso even though I am currently in the process of being listed.
