Guest guest
Hi...Friend... I have trouble with a high pulse rate also and have had it for several years. My " normal " pulse would run 125 to 130 and if I walked somewhere, even a short distance....it would get up as high as 148/149. The Internist I had at the time took care of if for me (probably one of just the one or two things he ever did to help me...he was one of those " you don't look sick and there is no such thing as Fibromyalgia " ). He put me on Atenolol (normally for HBP)and after a few weeks to a couple of months, it went down to the 90's now after being on it for about 3 - 4 years...my pulse is usually from the 60's to the 80's depending on either my emotional or physical stimuli. My BP has always been low normal (100/60 etc). I don't know if the high pulse is medically induced...I'm taking different drugs and less than I was back then....even now when I miss a couple of days if I run out or whatever...the pulse climbs back up over a hundred. Take care... Jan in AZ =^..^= ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere. Guest guest
Jan,.....I'm hoping it's the pain med. My blood pressure was running real high, but it dropped back down, wish the pulse would do the same. I will call the doctor Monday, thanks for sharing, it helps so much T --- In , " Jan =^..^= " <azmomacat2@y...> wrote: > Hi...Friend... > > I have trouble with a high pulse rate also and have had it for several years.
